97.5% of the total exports of China's Channel Catfish are exported to the United States, mainly whole fish/fish pieces, and United States is China's largest Channel Catfish market.
In 2023, the total output of Channel Catfish is about 700,000 tons, and the downstream consumer market is less than in previous years, the fish has a large storage capacity. At present, the farmers and processing of Channel Catfish are in the clear inventory.
The above factors will affect the source of raw materials and raw material prices around July and August. After New Year's Day, the prices of clearing stock are also low, but the sales momentum of the fish is still good, and it is still more optimistic about the future development of this fish.
