On October 25, the 26th China International Fisheries & Seafood Expo was held at the Hongdao International Convention and Exhibition Center in Qingdao, Shandong Province. This was the first offline appearance of the Fisheries Expo after the COVID-19 epidemic.

After nearly 30 years of cultivation, the Fisheries and Seafood Expo has developed into an exhibition with the largest exhibition scale, large number of exhibitors, and wide international influence among the world's professional aquatic products exhibitions. The exhibition area of this Fishery and Seafood Expo exceeded 110,000 square meters, an increase of 4% compared with that before the epidemic in 2019. The exhibition has two exhibition areas: aquatic products and technical equipment, with a total of 13 exhibition halls.

The Fisheries and Seafood Expo is a major gathering of the global aquaculture industry, providing a professional public platform for the development of global aquatic products trade. More than 1,680 companies from 51 countries and regions including Russia, Ecuador, Canada, Norway, and India participated in the exhibition, an increase of 6% compared with before the COVID-19 epidemic, and the proportion of international exhibitors reached 40%. Professional groups from 34 countries and regions at home and abroad participated in the exhibition, and Turkey and Iran participated in the exhibition in groups for the first time. The Russian national pavilion covers an area of 984 square meters, making it the largest overseas pavilion; there are 17 domestic pavilions, and the Zhoushan pavilion, Fujian pavilion, and Rongcheng pavilion all have an area of more than 1,000 square meters.
